Creativity, flexibility and speed are just some of the advantages a small USA-based company with its own in-house Engineering Department enjoys. The CE landscape is a continually morphing environment and Audio Authority has the resources in place to meet the ever changing needs of both the commercial and residential markets. Customer input combined with our own research and development efforts are integral parts of our design process. These collaborative efforts allow Audio Authority to design and manufacture the highest quality solutions available.

The Audio Authority Engineering Department has grown from its humble beginnings, in 1976, as a one man operation, in the person of Jon Gertz (who remains our Chief Engineer today), to its present day staff of eight. The backgrounds and experiences of the staff are as diverse as our product offerings and include degreed electrical, mechanical and software engineers as well as CAD operators and PCB layout specialists. The unique individuals that make up this team come to us from the US Air Force, academia, and the automobile manufacturing industry as well as several other manufacturing disciplines.
