Additional Information The Model 979R accepts PCM at sample rates from 44.1 KHz to 192 KHz, via the digital coaxial or digital optical input. It converts to L/R analog audio output on RCA type connectors. The Model 979T accepts L/R analog audio input on RCA type connectors, and outputs PCM via both digital optical or digital coaxial at selectable sample rates. It is factory set for 48KHz output, but also allows a 96KHz sample rate to be selected via an internal jumper. Perfect for use when a digital-only source needs to be interfaced to an analog audio-only television or amplifier. Convert your digital sources for use with an older amplifier, or add analog compatibility to a digital-only balun system.
