Reason for Notice: Problems with 1080p signals over long distance on some units

Disposition: 

Some model EDP-11 Cat 5 HDMI ver. 1.3 Extender Systems may experience problems when transmitting 1080p video at rated distances (115 ft. Cat 5e, 145 ft. Cat 6). However, other resolutions such as 1080i and 720p perform satisfactorily at rated maximum distances.

A solution is being developed to correct this issue and ensure all EDP-11 units perform at maximum rated functionality. Until that time, all orders for EDP-11 units will be placed on hold. Dealers are encouraged to consider alternative solutions, such as the HDP-11, for time-sensitive applications where HDMI / Cat 5 extension is required.

Dealers will be notified when EDP-11 units are available for shipment. Customers with orders on hold will be contacted before the items are shipped.
