New 1176 Matrix Router Expanders May Require Firmware Upgrade
Models Affected: 1176BK, 1176
Reason for Notice: New 1176 Matrix Router Expanders may require a firmware update when added to existing AVAtrix systems
Disposition: If you are adding a new 1176 to an existing system, you should upgrade the firmware to at least v.2.5. To check the firmware version, reboot the AVAtrix and read the start-up screen. All 1176 Expanders having a serial number 11109 or higher can only function with firmware version 2.5 or higher.If you experience problems with a firmware update, please contact Audio Authority's Technical Support department at 800-322-8346 for assistance.
