Digital to Analog Audio

When a digital audio-only source needs to be integrated with an analog audio-only device, the 979R fits the bill. In this application, the 979R accepts digital optical or digital coaxial output from an HDTV's ATSC tuner, and converts it to 2-channel analog for an audio amplifier.
