| | | | What is HLX? | The HLX Series is a card-and-cage matrix platform that delivers component video, digital audio and analog audio signals for distributed AV systems. Audio and video switching and volume can be controlled by Ethernet, serial, IR, or the front panel. | Built on Audio Authority’s innovative balanced line architecture, along with our Active Gain Equalization (AGE) technology, the HLX transmits HD video signals up to 1,000 feet over Cat 5e/6 cables while preserving high definition signal clarity and vibrancy. The HLX is designed around an ultra-high bandwidth backplane, which means that it can distribute up to 1080p Component video from 12 sources to 64 zones with virtually no effect on video quality. Three Cat 5 receiver styles available.

| Audio is no afterthought with the HLX system. Its advanced DSP technology including ZQ™ 10-band zone EQ, plus volume, mute, balance and independent audio switching features make it an ideal multi-zone audio system. The HLX can be configured for extensive audio distribution applications, up to 64 zones. Perfect for use with our new SF-16M 16 channel amplifier.
| Open Control Architecture
| Open control means HLX features are available via any IR, serial, or Ethernet control system using simple commands available on our website. In addition, a two-way driver for Control4 is available, and other drivers are currently in development.
| | Customizing HLX | Design your system with the inputs and outputs you need (try the HLX Configurator). Each HLX configuration arrives assembled and tested, ready to install right out of the box with virtually no setup required for basic functionality. Using our simple PC setup software, integrators can quickly perform advanced setup tasks such as EQ adjustments in each zone, zone/source lockout, and source and zone labeling. It's easy to program Favorites so that any source/zone combination can be quickly recalled by the user.
