What Makes the AVAtrix Unique?

Receiver options
The AVAtrix offers three different Cat 5 wallplate/receiver options: a dual-gang, stainless steel wallplate, a single-gang, Decora style wallplate in three different colors, and an enclosed Cat 5 receiver for in-wall, or on-wall mounting.

Distance
The AVAtrix faithfully transmits HDTV signals up to 1,000 feet over Cat 5 cable. It's performance comes from our unique use of differential balanced line technology and active gain equalization. Our "active" powered approach adds up to performance that a passive balun can't match!

Audio
Each wallplate/receiver makes digital and analog audio available at each location. And the AVAtrix can be easily interfaced with a whole house audio distribution system, through the flexible 1172 Audio Interface.

Control
Control the matrix via IR or RS-232. Download the control codes from our website. Use the built-in IR pathway to transmit IR commands from any zone back to the source without running additional cables, for an integrated solution that's easy to install and easy to use.

The AVAtrix is the versatile, expandable, affordable Cat 5 matrix. It is easy to install - just two Cat 5 cables carry component video, digital audio, analog audio, and IR commands, plus power for the Cat 5 wallplate/receivers! That's right, our Cat 5 receivers don't require a power source at the zone, making for a convenient and headache-free installation.
