The 1110 enables the use of Audio Authority's Dual Cat 5 products over a single Cat 5 infrastructure. Only component video and digital audio are possible over a single Cat 5 using this passive converter.

A: Yes, the 1180R or 1180RD can be used in place of the standard AVAtrix Cat 5 receivers, with the use of Model 1110 two-to-one Cat 5 Adapter. The analog audio pathway is not available at the 1180 Series reciever, but a separate IR breakout jack provides a way to wire an IR receiver at the zone.
