Overview
Converts and scales VGA (RGB) to Component Video (YPbPr) as shown in a typical application below. It also converts Component to VGA. Perfect for boardroom applications or home integration, the 1366 solves all the common challenges of integrating PC and HD components. Most scalers convert resolution and refresh rate, but don't correct overscan errors, meaning a large portion of a computer image can be lost outside the range of an HDTV screen. The 1366 has image size adjustments to correct for overscan problems.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does the 1366 work with any computer? A: Yes, any computer with a VGA (analog video) output can be used as a source. The 1366 accepts a very wide variety of input resolutions and refresh rates, so no video output adjustments are needed, and no special software needs to be installed.
Q: The photos of the 1366 do not show component video output jacks (RCA). How does it connect to the projector or TV? A: It is common for ultra-compact equipment like the 1366 to output all video signals on an HD-15 connector. A breakout cable is included that allows connection to standard RCA type component video cables. Q: My laptop only has DVI output. Can I use the 1366? A: Yes! Most laptops come with a DVI to VGA adapter or one can be purchased inexpensively from most retailers. Q: I have installed the 1366, but I see no picture. How do I proceed? A: The unit may need to be reset to the factory default resolution. Hold Menu and (–) keys for 5 seconds to reset to 480p @ 60Hz. Proceed with adjustments using the On Screen Display interface. |
