Overview

The 2800 series of HDMI® over IP products is perfectly suited to retail demonstration in electronics stores. The system is capable of transmitting 1080p video content up to 250 feet in one run without any loss of quality, and supports an almost unlimited number of HDTV displays. Using Gigabit IP technology, picture quality is maximized while overcoming the slow handshake times, poor cable integrity, and distance limitations of traditional HDMI distribution amplifiers. Using off-the-shelf Gigabit Ethernet switches, a system can be extended for even more distance, or expanded to add more displays. This plug and play system is incredibly simple to install - just connect a single UTP Ethernet cable from the 2801 transmitter to a GbE network switch, then feed the cables from the switch to an array of 2811 receivers.

A: The system supports up to 127 HDTVs with HDCP-encrypted content. Non-encrypted content has no maximum system size limit.
