It takes one source in and provides four outputs of HD component video, analog L/R audio, digital coaxial audio, and digital optical audio. Auto cross-conversion allows for digital optical and digital coaxial audio to simultaneously be available even when only one format is available from the source. Use the bus passthrough to chain multiple amplifiers together.
For those situations when you need HDTV with digital audio on a Tos-link connector, we designed the new 985DTO with just the right features. Ultra high bandwidth component video and an analog stereo audio path are available for HDTVs, plus auto-converting digital audio ports for home theater and HTIB systems. Whether your input is optical or coaxial, the digital audio output is automatically converted so both formats are always available.
