Overview

The BlueBeam is designed to allow a Sony Playstation 3 to be integrated into an IR remote control system. The PS3 accepts only Bluetooth commands, but the BlueBeam allows any universal IR remote that is capable of learning the PS3 commands to control the PS3. The programming method is similar for most learning remotes and home control systems. You may download CCF files here if your remote accepts CCF files.

• IR repeater mode: IR signals received on the internal IR receiver between 36-40kHz are repeated and transmitted to an IR emitter.

Instructions for pairing the BlueBeam IR to Bluetooth converter with your PlayStation 3 console are contained in the user manual and quickstart guide. To find the IR codeset for programming your particular IR remote, consult the manufacturer of the remote control.

Power Options

To power up your BlueBeam, use the enclosed AA batteries, a USB to Mini-USB cable (not included), or the Model 571-013 power supply.
