High Performance, Versatile ControlsAudio Authority's AH4 AudioHub is the perfect fit in retail environments where high-quality music is required to demonstrate audio products such as quality soundbars, headphones, and speaker docks. The AH4 is more than a music player – it is a programmable nerve center that can coordinate multiple devices to create a dynamic experience.
Ports for external controls provide a simple way to start music for a demo and adjust the volume. The retail-hardened interface keeps performing without any active maintenance. The AH4 accepts FLAC, WAV, OGG, and MP3 formats to present premium quality speakers, headphones, and soundbars at their best. Control options include touch screen, touch panel, push buttons, touchless sensors, or rotary controls, depending on the type of interface desired.
Media - Recommended formats are FLAC, WAV, OGG, and MP3
- Songs play in order according to filenames (01, 02 .. 99)
- MP3 files should be a high bit rate (up to 320 kbps) for demonstrating superior quality headphones
- Customer input automatically senses audio signals and switches to the customer's music player
Operation
- After an adjustable period of inactivity, the player times out, in consideration for store employees
- Simple controls for music and volume adjustments invite the shopper to interact with merchandise
- Switch mode transforms the AH4 into an audio switcher ideal for demonstrating four products
Control
- Serial pathways include RS-232 and RS-485 communication
- Optional control knob with Visual Volume adjusts volume on all outputs, and push to play
- Controls may include selector buttons, sensors, touch panels, touchscreen, or multi-function control knob
- Transport commands include Play Next / Pause, Previous Track, Volume Up, and Volume Down

Make sure that all audio files are free of images in the metadata. In some cases, an image or other content in metadata may prevent playback.

The yellow Status LED indicates "play" and SD card status:- Blinking = Playing content
- Blinking Fast = Customer input active
- Off = No card found
- On Solid = Card could not be mounted; bad card or format
