Audio Authority’s 1703 Music Demo player is the perfect fit in retail environments where high quality music is required to demonstrate audio products such as quality soundbars, headphones and speaker docks. The interface provides a simple way to start music for a demo, and adjust volume. The retail-hardened interface keeps performing without any active maintenance. The 1703 accepts FLAC, WAV, and MP3 formats to present premium quality headphones and soundbars at their best. Other interface options include push-buttons or rotary controls, depending on the type of interface desired.

The card must be formatted FAT32 or exFAT.
*Note: a firmware update may be required to enable switch mode functionality.
Make sure that all audio files are free of images in the meta data. In some cases, an image may prevent playback.
Status LED
The main Status LED (power indicator) is green and blinks indicating the 1703 has power. There is a small red Status LED located next to the large green LED. When blinking, it is also visible through the lens, and can be seen more clearly through side openings in the case, or by removing the case.
The red LED indicates play and SD card status:
Red LED lit solid: There are no files on the SD card, or the SD card is defective. Reformat the card and/or copy compatible FLAC or MP3 files onto it.
Red LED blinks at two second intervals: Player is in stop mode, select next track or place DIP switch 3 in the On position and power-cycle.
Red LED blinks at one-half second intervals: A track is playing.
Red LED blinks at one-eighth second intervals: Customer input is active.
