Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton declares Oct. 15th Audio Authority Day

]In 1976, Audio Authority began with a simple mission: to design and manufacture innovative, high-performance electronics right here in Lexington, Kentucky. Last week, we were honored to celebrate a historic milestone—our 50th anniversary.

To mark the occasion, Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton visited our facilities to meet our team, tour our operations, and officially proclaim October 15th as "Audio Authority Day" across the city.

Receiving an official proclamation from Mayor Gorton is a proud moment for our entire organization, but it is ultimately a tribute to the people who built this company step by step:

Our Employees: The skilled engineers, assembly technicians, sales and support staff whose expertise and loyalty have sustained us for 50 years. Our Customers & Partners: The businesses, partners, and brands around the world who trust Audio Authority products every day. Our Lexington Community: The vibrant city that has provided us with an incredible home and workforce for half a century.

While reaching our golden anniversary is a chance to look back with gratitude, it also inspires us to look forward. Audio Authority continues to innovate, expand into new markets, and adapt to evolving technology—all while keeping quality manufacturing right here in Lexington.
