How to Disable the Alarm On One Product Position

1. Insert a programmed key and open the display cabinet.
2. Find the 1710A and follow the product connection to determine the product position that should have the alarm disabled.
3. Locate the Theft Detect switches, numbered 1 through 4 on the 1710A.
4. Flip the switch to OFF for that product position.
5. Cycle power by disconnecting the power supply for 10 seconds.
6. Close the display and check all product connections before removing the key.
7. Test the display for normal operation.

The 1710A is shown at right. The detail shows that Theft Detect on position 2 has been disabled.
