• Q: What is different?
  A: The Series III hub cards are completely compatible with legacy systems, but when used with other Series III components and connected by sheilded UTP cable, the new grounding scheme protects the system from interference and power fluctuations. New color coded decals now distinguish the counter cards, lane cards, and system card.
  
  
• Q: What if I need to replace existing cards in the field?
  A: You can mix and match hub cards, as long as the firmware is at least 4.0 or later. A quantity of the legacy cards will be available for service, while supplies last.
