The 1511A Hub configuration can be easily upgraded with additional Counter Cards or Lane Cards. A: The new hub and cards are completely compatible with existing systems. The main added feature is grounded jacks, part of our end-to-end grounding scheme. If all components of the system are Series 3, it protects from electromagnetic interference to preserve audio quality. We have also color coded the overlays to help distinguish counter cards, lane cards, and system card. Q: Can I mix A series with B on the same Hub card cage? A: Yes. You may mix old and new cards, since the new cards are physically and electrically compatible with existing hubs.
